Native East Texans. We were born and raised in a little town in East Texas called simply Point....  Point, Texas is home to the National Farmers Union which was established here to help farmers across this great nation speak out and be heard.

I grew up in the time when cotton was king around here and most of my kin folks were involved in one way or another. Either running a gin or growing and picking and taking it to the gin. When I was a kid the streets in the fall harvest season would be lined with the white stuff as if it had snowed. The gin run 24 hours a day to get all the cotton ginned and baled up.

Point is located in the Eagle Capital of Texas, Rains County. The Annual EagleFest, held in January or February each year brings birders from all over the Continent to enjoy the Eagles and the festivities... Rains County is home to the largest Eagle population in any one place in Texas and has been designated the Eagle Capital of Texas.
